Inside the car were four people: a young couple, Alex and Jamie, on their first road trip, a pair of friends, Tom and Lisa, who had planned to visit an old, abandoned house, and an elderly woman named Mrs. Thompson, who had been lost for hours and was desperate to reach her destination.

The crash was sudden and violent. The car rolled several times, and when it finally came to a halt, the passengers found themselves in a surreal world. The car was intact, but the world outside was different. The trees twisted and writhed like living beings, and the sky was a sickly shade of green. Tom was the first to break the silence. "Where are we?" His voice was trembling.

Alex, Jamie's husband, peered out the window. "I see no sign of our car. It must have rolled off the road."

Jamie, Alex's wife, was silent, her eyes fixed on the eerie surroundings. "I feel like we're not alone."

Tom's hand flew to his chest. "I heard something."

Suddenly, a cold breeze swept through the car, and the windows rumbled as if an unseen force was moving them. "Who's there?" Tom called out, his voice barely above a whisper.

There was no answer. The car was still, save for the occasional rustle of the trees outside.

Hours passed, and the group remained trapped. They tried to drive the car, but it wouldn't respond. They tried to leave on foot, but the path twisted and turned, and they soon found themselves back at the car.

Tom's voice broke the silence again. "We have to do something."

Mrs. Thompson's eyes were filled with fear. "What if we can't find our way back?"

Alex reached out and took Jamie's hand. "We need to stick together."

Tom's eyes widened. "Look at the car!"

Lisa's voice was barely above a whisper. "This is it. This is where we end."

Mrs. Thompson's eyes met Alex's. "You have to promise me something, Alex. Promise me you'll find Jamie."

Alex nodded, his eyes filled with tears. "I promise, Mrs. Thompson."
